Ugitech's 430FR is a soft magnetic component designed of ferritic stainless steel for operation in corrosive environments. 17.00%-18.00% chromium makes corrosion resistance similar to 430F. The increased silicon content in the alloy allows for the addition of magnetic properties in excess of 430 °F in the annealed state. 430FR exhibits excellent and consistent performance due to its high resistivity. This alloy was developed for applications requiring solenoid valves with weak electromagnetic forces (Hc = 1.88 - 3.00 Oe [150 - 240 A / m]). Our controlled processing makes magnetic performance generally better than industry standards. As the silicon content increases, the hardness of the 430FR increases by more than 430F, reducing the deformation that occurs during the oscillating shock of the AC and DC solenoid valves. Ugitech's 430FR is chemically balanced, providing excellent machinability and providing heat and heat consistency, which is unmatched in the industry. Once the optimum machining settings have been established, the mechanic can take advantage of the increased machining efficiency (run-run-production).

5. Forging (thermal processing)
Ugitech's 430FR is ideal for use at high temperatures. The alloy is softer and more ductile than austenitic alloys and is shaped by relatively small forces. The high ductility of the alloy allows for easy access to thin section parts. Hot forging can be accomplished by uniformly heating between 750 ° C / 1200 ° C (1382 ° F / 2192 ° F). No special cooling precautions are required. The forgings can be air cooled.
